When I see Reese Witherspoon’s signature yellow book club sticker on a book, I know it’s going to be a good one. Your classic Southern Belle stereotype “Evie Porter” is the protagonists latest undercover identity. Her mark: the charming hometown hero of a Louisiana small town. Working for a secret agency hired to uncover secrets, Evie realizes this is going to be her hardest task yet. This page turning thriller had all the components I needed to keep me engaged and finish this book in one day (well, tehcnically two if you include finishing at 1:22am). Salacious blackmail, the perfect meet cute, and a southern charm thriller are the perfect recipe for a fabulous book!
