This was the perfect long read for my senior spring break trip. When an Oxford friend group goes for their annual NYE reunion they opt for something different this year, something more remote. From the outside they seem like best friends, but with ten years of friendships comes ten years of resentment, secrets, and illicit activities. Changing perspectives from before and after the murder, we don’t know who the killer is and who was killed gave this book a solid 4.5/5 rating. Different personalities, an array of upbringings, and nothing but the wintery wilderness of 50,000 miles outdoors… what could go wrong?
