Your bad idea rejectionist 

Commonly called a nitpicker 

I wear my title like a gameday sticker 

Whenever something is out of place 

I glue a smile to my face 

Commonly deemed a control freak 

No need for input, I’m my own worst critique 

The apple didn’t fall far from the family tree 

I’m turning into my mother, almost everyone agrees 

Some say high maintenance, I say exact 

Solving minute issues where others slacked 

Group projects are my worst nightmare 

Delegating work is often rare 

Overworking into the late-night hours 

Is a perfectionist superpower 

As a perfectionist in everything 

We survive on the praises people sing

Every single task can be turned into a race 

And there’s no such thing as second place 

Failure is our biggest fear 

So imagine the pressure in our career 

Unrealistic expectations

Are attached to our reputation 

We plan everything down to the last detail 

To ensure we absolutely can not fail
