A is for Annabelle

This book has sat in my playroom since before I was born.

A is for Annabelle.” Tasha Tudor’s 1954 classic children’s book combined with my paternal great-grandmother’s name being Annabelle was how my parents decided upon my name while on their second date. This picture book goes through the alphabet of a doll’s important things, so I decided I would go through my personal alphabet of unique things that are important to me.

An acrostic poem is

Not what you were probably expecting

iN my blog post. However,

After writing that

Blurb above, this post just felt

Extremely plain

Like the chicken we cooked for dinner.

Like crackers and no cheese. Like

Eating just for survival and not for pleasure.
